About project
Vintage is an online store specializing in fine wines and spirits. The client needed a complete modernization of an outdated eCommerce site — but with two non-negotiables: preserve the entire catalog structure and content while strengthening the technical SEO foundation, and launch without interrupting sales.
Artjoker delivered a full UX/UI redesign, a from-scratch technical rebuild, safe content migration (products, images, filters), and a real-time integration with the client’s custom CRM. The result is a cleaner buying experience, faster internal workflows, and a scalable platform ready for long-term organic growth — built as a modern wine and spirits website for a competitive market.
Business Challenges
In established eCommerce, a redesign is not just “a new look.” It’s a revenue-critical change where mistakes can cost sales, visibility, and trust. Building alcoholic beverage websites requires extra attention to trust, clarity, and operational accuracy — especially for a growing alcoholic beverages online store. The client faced several high-impact risks:
- Modernize the customer experience without losing familiarity
The website had to feel premium and intuitive while keeping the catalog structure customers already knew.
- Migrate content with zero data loss
Any missing products, broken images, or incorrect filters would immediately hurt conversion and customer confidence — and create internal operational overhead.
- Strengthen the SEO foundation for sustainable growth
The goal was to improve the underlying architecture and technical SEO so future content and marketing efforts translate into organic visibility — reducing dependency on paid traffic.
- Connect the new store to a custom CRM in real time
Operational stability depended on reliable synchronization with the client’s internal workflows — no manual workarounds after launch.
- Go live without downtime
The business could not pause orders. The release had to be controlled and safe, preserving continuous revenue flow.
Our solution
We approached Vintage as a business upgrade, not just a redesign — improving conversion potential, simplifying operations, and building a platform that can scale with marketing and SEO. This project is also a strong example of ecommerce website development where UX, content integrity, SEO, and integrations must work together.
- UX/UI redesign grounded in research
We designed a clean, modern interface based on:
The focus was a smoother path to purchase: easier browsing, clearer product discovery, and reduced checkout friction — crucial for any fine wine and good spirits store website.
- Business analysis → clear technical roadmap
Working closely with a Business Analyst, we translated business pain points into a detailed technical specification. This helped align stakeholders, reduce delivery risk, and ensure every improvement mapped to a business goal.
- Flexible admin panel built for daily operations
We implemented an admin experience designed around real store workflows. The client’s team can now manage content independently and process orders faster — without relying on developers for routine updates.
- Safe catalog migration via a custom import module
To preserve the existing catalog structure and avoid data loss, we built a custom import module and migrated:
- Products and attributes
- Images
- Categories, filters, and structure
This ensured continuity for customers and preserved the catalog structure that supports long-term SEO growth.
- Technical SEO foundation for long-term growth
We improved the site’s technical readiness for SEO by strengthening architecture and optimization basics — making the platform more crawlable, faster, and better prepared for future content and marketing scaling.
- Real-time integration with a custom CRM
We implemented a real-time CRM integration to support seamless synchronization and uninterrupted workflows. This reduced manual effort and ensured the business could run smoothly from day one on the new platform.
To minimize risk, we coordinated a controlled go-live approach: building the new platform in parallel, validating catalog consistency, and ensuring the customer journey and internal processes remained stable during the transition — without business downtime.

Key results
- Zero-downtime launch The new platform went live without interrupting ongoing sales.
- Better customer experience The redesign improved usability, contributing to higher engagement and stronger purchase activity.
- Faster operations The admin team processes orders more efficiently and manages content independently.
- Stable performance and workflows Real-time CRM synchronization supports reliable day-to-day operations.
- SEO-ready foundation Improved architecture and technical setup prepare the store for sustainable organic growth and lower acquisition costs over time for a modern alcoholic beverages online store.
